Challenge One

Nobody to love me after only one night of wedded bliss! What can I do? I am but a lonely widow…. *smirks* A Black Widow…..Ever since I put on these red shoes, I’ve gone through husbands like there is no tomorrow. I do not know why the spiders love me so, but they do. They hang from my neck….from the flowers for my poor husband….even in my hair! The Black Widow’s gown is simple and elegant; tiers of simple ruffles from top to bottom with a scrap of sheerness barely covering her lovely assets to the low back, she is a vision of loveliness. Though, all that you can see under her veil is the ruby red lips~are they red from blood perhaps?~and her shiny~or are they more beady looking?~eyes glaring out at you.

Challenge Three
My original design was going to be something with safety pins (one day I will make it)…I even had them all out and ready to go. But as I was sewing everything, the safety pins were far from my mind. I kept seeing a flurry of colours on a black background and that is what sprang forth from me. The skirt has black “fishnet” in between the inner and outer bits. The clutch has a sampling of the yarn inside and bobby-like socks are worn for effect.
