Challenge Four - Contestant 19

For this challenge I drew inspiration from Rococo style of architecture. Bearing in mind that what sets Rococo style from Baroque is its asymmetry or leaving unbalanced effects or also known as contraste. Second is  being ornate which is evident with the beadwork and embroidery.  And lastly, playful.  As seen with the cascading ruffles and the pink lining. I made it more structural to give it a modern feel. Even the draping is more of a structured. To add to the contraste, I made the back drape overlapping on the other side.  To give the softness to the design, I embellished it with beads and embroidered it with leaves. The flower and swirl patterns are random and do not follow as certain pattern. Just free flowing and playful. I also chose pastel colors as well. Cascading ruffles and pink lining are also added since it give it a romantic feel true to a Rocco style of art.
