Challenge Six - Contestant 14
For the Last challenge, I was inspired by turbine blades for the key details. So what I did was to cut different sizes of polygon and strategically placed them on the skirt of the dress to give it shape. Also I used it on the sleeves as well. I also added black fur to the sleeves to add flounce on the oversize sleeves. A white ruffle served as a breaker for the black pieces attached asymmetrically to give a whimsical feel. Since fur is evident in the runway a added it on the sleeves with a minimal amount so it would not take the attention from the volume of the structured skirt. The breast ar intentionaly showing to give a a more risque feel. everything is lined except for the mesh part of the dress.
